Ak'Zhul (in the torn vest and glasses) and Hakaril, are twin half vampiric brothers. Who are as different as night and day and only real common interests are booze and pummelling each other. I did this one just this morning. It's funny because out of everything i posted today, this is the only thing I drew today.

Ak looks like angry black frodo in this I swear! Look at his face! IT's definately angry black hobbit right there. I gave Hak some bleached dreads as I think I remember charles saying he had them this way. And I know I copped out on drawing the background, but I'll only do it this once! Scouts honor!

Photoshop, 3 1/2 hours

>: You know where you needs to post this.

I must say, I love the expressions--that's pretty awesome work there. Haven't seen any recent work from you (you've been holding out on me ;_; ) so I didn't know how much you've improved! From looking at this, I'm totally waiting for Akky to flip out and chomp his brother--perhaps, in the face! Of course, he might be a tad bit busy trying not to fall over. I also note that he is almost as close to naked as his family/D.C. society would allow him to be--how terribly in-character for him!

The bleaching of Hak's dreads are a little easy to overlook...that could have been a little more pronounced so the viewer could notice it more. That's all I can say specifically about this piece. More generally, to work on, I might suggest to try to gradually produce pieces that are larger in size? Considering how radical I find this piece right now, for the expressions and interaction between the two characters, I'd love to see something like this in a larger picture with more detail to it (and with a backround, you bum ;þ).

In other news, thanks for that dia, that was a nice comment to see at the start of the day. And it's not that I've been holding out, it's been that i've been too busy, working on my comic (yet to be released) or my webspace went SPLUT, which it did. Ugh. So yeah, this is why the absence in rpgww art.

HAR HAR! Give in to PEER PRESSURE! (All the cool kids are doing it).

Meanwhile, I need to learn how to draw my own backgrounds, instead of relying on filtering photos and scans. :[

And I need to draw. Something. Anything. :0 I'm gradually getting more and more of a drive to do this as I see my friends post art. o.o That's neato. I still suck at, you know, drawing the full body, though. :{ I wish I had a book of pose references. Maybe I should look online for one...

Also! I don't mind if it's specifically RPGWW art or not--I just would like to see art from you. But it looks like I will, if this account means anything! So that's totally awesometastic. n_n

DO IT! DO IT FOR THE MORALE OF OUR BLEAK SOLDIERS, i mean.....I dig the dia art and fully support this "draw more" movement.

AS to backgrounds, man are they a hard area to really get into. o.o;; Good luck to ya, I still hide from them myself.

And as to the art. Yeah I seriously see me doing some more, it's cool to get soooooo much feedback. Makes me feel a little more adventurous about exploring my non anime styles.
